I'm certain I had a thread on Aussies in London before, but I can't find it now, so I'm stickying this one. www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Story.aspx?ci=521205Philip Quast will be playing Juan Peron in the West-End revival of Evita in May.

www.whatsonstage.com/dl/page.php?page=greenroom&story=E8821137746269This is confirming what was revealed on Broadway at Bedtime last week; that Yvette Robinson will be taking over Ruthie Henshall's role in The Woman in White on West End, making that three Aussie leads in the one show! However, unfortunately the show will be closing on 25th February, so it will only be a short run for her, but at least she gets the chance

Damn! I didn't know it was closing... I was hoping to see it when I'm in London in July.

I would have liked to have seen it, too But then, given I don't actually have time to go to London until next summer at the earliest, I wan't holding all that much hope

And it turns out that, as well as Adam Garcia playing Fiyero in the London cast of Wicked, Helen Dallimore has been cast as Galinda. Hard to picture having only seen her in Myopia, but I think she'll be able to pull it off. I suppose I'll find out

Hard to picture having only seen her in Myopia, but I think she'll be able to pull it off. I suppose I'll find out So. Are there going to be ANY Brits in this cast? So you'll find out...and meanwhile, I'm still paranoid that I'll be at the one show where all the leads are out. Would it be insane to buy tickets to a third show? (Would it be insane...to already be going to New York via London, to be flying from London to NYC on new year's eve...right, third show it is) Also, I'm just going to post the link here for you Julia - and anyone else who is going - www.theatremonkey.com/APOLLOVICTORIAstalls.htm - a really thorough description of where you do and don't want to sit. Also, for Wicked, row B is the front, not A. (And the circle overhangs at row Q of the stalls) And if ticketmaster keep insisting on giving you row B (which it sounds like you realllly don't want), try this site: www.seetickets.com for only £1.10 more, you can (sometimes, perhaps mine was just a fluke) get a MUCH better seat. The hint is, if you don't like what they give you, to select choose again, because they don't give you the same seat twice. I seriously did it about twenty times until suddenly J, dead centre. Score. Okay, I'm done
