Ah yes those were the days... David, Hugh, Kane, Helen, Tamsin, Adam, Simon, I'll stop now. And now, with half of the internet going Helen crazy, don't us Aussies just feel so smug? Big WORD to that. I'm like um hello time to break out those old articles - now I'm just thinking this is a big payback for when Helen did Up for Grabs at the STC and it then went to West End where Madonna replaced her and was universally panned. Speaking of Helen and Adam, etc does anyone know how long their contracts are for Wicked?

Jarrod Carland is playing Danny Zuko in the UK tour of Grease. The official website is www.greasethemusical.co.uk/Also, there's a rumour Damian Humbley will be appearing in Fiddler on the Roof. This is yet to be confirmed, though.

Ask if he wants to do something - anything - in the second half of November ;-)
I do have the most rotten luck, missing L5Y and leaving London two days before Fiddler!
Does this mean you're in the Fiddler cast, then, musicalsfan?

Hello there, As you probably know, the wonderful Philip Quast is currently performing in the revival of Evita in London. A cast recording of the show has recently been released, but alas it’s only highlights and there’s very little left of Quast’s amazing performance as President Perón. The Philip Quast Guide has been running a Petition in order to ask the production company of the CD to release a full recording of the show, which would allow people living overseas to enjoy this great revival production in all its beauty. If you wish to support our initiative, please follow this link: www.allthingsquast.info/interact/evitapetition.phpThank you and fingers crossed! The Philip Quast Guide Team www.allthingsquast.info

For anyone curious about London Wicked, the first reviews don't seem to be out yet, but from what I've heard the show's been anglicised. Helen's playing Glinda as a posh English girl, and Adam's Fiyero is an Estonian prince.
Hopefully we'll have reviews soon.

There are a TRUCKLOAD of personal reviews out there...if you know where to look Nothing official yet though, of course, since it hasn't opened - and from what I'm reading, I hope the critics wait until opening night's passed to have their say, and not base their words on the previews...as we know some like to do And poor Helen. Her bubble malfunctioned!

Yes! I heard about her bubble! And I know there are personal reviews out there. That's where I saw it had been anglicised in the first place. But it'd still be nice to have an official verdict. Though I agree. Not that I can see reviewers being as cruel as in the example I'm fairly certain you're thinking of
