The Production Company's run of Bye Bye Birdie, starring Tamsin Carroll and Philip Gould, is approaching, and I have some more cast details.
The supporting roles will be played by Spencer McLaren and Natalie O'Donnell, with Daryl Somers as Mr MacAfee.
Bye Bye Birdie will be playing Wed 16th July - Saturday 19th July at the State Theatre, Victorian Arts Centre, and tickets can be booked through Ticketmaster.

That's always the way it happens I actually hadn't been for a week or so, so I must have been lucky. Same thing happened when I checked up on Anthony Warlow's site. ~Julia

Just posting to announce that I have my tickets (after much drama involving not being able to carry around 4 student cards when going to buy the tickets and thus not being allowed to buy them ). I'll be seeing the show on Friday night with three of my friends. I can't wait! When's everyone else going? ~ Julia

I'm hoping my friends won't mind going around to the stage door with me. One of the friends who's coming came to PoP with me and we went to the stage door, so we should end up going. One thing, though, is that I've heard that there are multiple doors at the State Theatre, and actors often zip out of different doors. Do you know anything about this?

I'm going Saturday matinee coolies - well if you see someone with her parents saying Holy Crap a few times it usually will mean Tamsin is in walking distance. I did the same reaction when I had the whole Melb Proof cast in front of me and then the Cabaret cast *sigh* - if only I didn't freeze

I was listening to 3AW via the net last night and they had a few people ring up to talk about BBB.
Basically all of them agreed that it was a great show and the performances were top-notch.
Some made mention to Philip and Daryl while others said Tamsin and Spencer, etc were the standouts.
