Welcome Ziggy! That's a pretty impressive list. Were they school productions or with community groups? Good to have you here! Buff

Welcome Zigamundus! Were any of those shows in Australia? Whereabouts were you? And which part of New Zealand are you in now?

Well as much as I love Musical Theatre, I've only actually been in one and a half shows.
I auditioned for the Hot Mikado once (but I'm kinda glad I didn't get in cos I heard the cast wasn't very nice!!)
I got into and rehearsed Sweet Charity (Fandango Girl) but I had to go to Adelaide during the performance week, so I missed out on ever doing that show.
And my first show was "Jesus Christ Superstar" where I got to be in the chorus (where I got a couple of solo lines) and understudied the role of Peta (yes we made her a girl, and could we start again please was a much prettier song because of it!!)
Maybe one day I'll perform in MT again, however, I'm happy enough just watching from afar and acting out Eponine and Mimi in my bedroom!!!!

Agh I get goosebumps thinking about it!!!

Nope sorry, I'd be to embarrassed, and my experience of musical theatre boards isn't great so maybe one night if I was a little tipsy (like I was when I told Julia!!!) I'll let you know! I'll just say it involved me gushing over how much I love the role of Eponine and how much "A Little Fall of Rain" is my alltime favourite song!
Let's just say it was an experience that was very special to me, but not one that I feel I should tell the world about, BECAUSE it was very special to me!

My sister is in first year doing Music Ed, boring yeah, but she's my only connection. Are you doing a Musical Theatre course there, do you know Liz Pascoe, she's my voice teacher. You must be pretty amazing to have got into music theatre, Liz told me the audition process, *shudder*

Hey!
I don't have any friends that currently go to WAPPA. I had friends who have graduated!
My former singing teacher, Mathew Frank, went to WAPPA as did Dean Bryant, Fiona Choi, Graham Pages and I'm sure there are others I know I just can't put my finger on who they are!
My work smells like petrol and it's hard to concentrate....they're cleaning something with CLR or something like that?!?!

Eowyn, Yup I am doing the Music Theatre course at the academy. Liz is so nice... she is my boyfriend's teacher... she took us out to Yum Cha a few months ago Music Ed... that sounds great. I know a guy who graduated last year who has got a great job at a private school, he's loving it! The audition process was pretty hard... but now it seems that just getting through the course is much harder. RockAus, I'm friends with Leon, Dean's brother... So how do you know all of these grads? MC

Hey MC, I first met Fi Choi when she did RENT, and we kept in touch from there. I met Matty, Dean and Graham through Opell Ross. Opell put me on to Matty as a singing teacher, and I just went from there with them all! SUCH awesome guys! Love em! Really Love Em! I'm sure I've met others too, but I just can't remember who has and hasn't done WAPAA. Most of my mates in theatre are either WAPAA or Brent St graduates! Both schools seem heaps talented, but so different in their styles for MT graduates. Brent Streeters have a certain dance level and style, and you can tell a WAPAA graduate a mile away.... MT in it's truest sense!
